Hi All, thanks for your patience. As per Ckays last update alluding to this, some of the new members of the team arrived at the conclusion that it would be easier to continue their involvement in the project without the prior baggage and history of Warp Finance. Considering none of these team members were present under the old ABAG incubator structure, they do not feel any affinity towards the old brand or its history, and only view it as a potential liability. Therefore the team decided that the planned relaunch of Warp on Arbitrum instead provides a great opportunity to start afresh and launch the platform as an entirely new project. This includes forking the publicly available [and semi-audited] Blacksmith contracts, with some newly planned features, UI, token allocation, and branding. The new team asked me to continue on as an advisor for the new project to ensure the continuity of the vision, which I have gladly accepted. My conditions for joining the team were that the Warp community would be included in the distribution of the new token, which the team accepted. Therefore I'm pleased to announce that a snapshot has been taken for just prior to Ckays announcement, for all holders that purchased their $WARP from the open market. The team felt that including only those that purchased those tokens on the market best represented the core community which they would like to reward and involve as part of the new project. The wallets included in this snapshot will be eligible for an airdrop of the new token at TGE. A full list of addresses and amounts will be published soon. As Ckay mentioned previously, although he is fully supportive of the direction, he will not be transitioning to the new project along with the team, but will instead continue with Warp in caretaker mode. As the only remaining mutual contact between the old team and new, I will still provide some assistance to Ckay as appropriate. However both Ckay and myself agree that it is best to only maintain the V1 version of Warp only, and thus Warp Finance itself will no longer be transitioning to Arbtirum or launching the full V2 suite (at least not in the near term). We are all very excited about the upcoming launch of the new project, and will keep you updated as details progress. As soon as the project is able to go public, I will drop the new TG link here, and hope that you will follow the launch as TGE shareholders :)
